The letter is franked correctly as printed matter with 4 øre, which was the rate for domestic printed matters from January 1st 1875 to December 31th 1918. The stamp is cancelled December 16th 1884 with Lapidar København K IVa-2. Furthermore the letter has a arrival stamp at the back Lapidar Roeskilde IIb-1 used in the period from April 14th 1882 to February 10th, but it has never been registered as an arrival stamp before. And is also the earliest known use of this perfin.
